I Didn't Always Eat Healthy Or Look Like I Do Today At 46 Years Old.
Growing up in rural Pennsylvania, I grew up eating a lot of cereal for breakfast, peanut butter and Fluff crackers for lunch or summer sausage and cheese, pretzels, chips, canned vegetables, scrapple on the weekends, and ice cream almost daily.
Despite being a 3 sport athlete, the saying is true, "You can't outwork a bad diet." I always felt out of shape and self conscious despite being athletic, but I didn't know then what I do now about nutrition and healthy eating habits.
I honestly haven't had those foods, since I moved away over 25 years ago, except for a little ice cream treat now and then.
I rarely feel hungry since I eat small meals throughout the day and enjoy all my favorite foods in moderation. Most importantly I feel confident in my food choices, the strategies I use to build consistent habits. When I am consistent in both my food choices and exercise I feel better, my clothes fit better, and I like it.
